Q-PLANET Launches €50M Initiative to Revolutionize Quantum Chip Manufacturing in Europe

The European Chips Joint Undertaking and Pasqal unveiled Q-PLANET, a €50 million effort to develop the first industrial-scale neutral-atom quantum chip pilot line. This initiative unites 37 partners across 12 EU states and aims to publish open-standard Process Design Kits. With key innovations in laser-on-chip systems, Q-PLANET targets to boost quantum processing capabilities significantly by 2028.
