Megaport, after a decade of connecting clouds, has pivoted to become an AI cloud player, securing four contracts worth A$458.9M. The Australian firm aims to raise A$827.3M to fund a globally distributed AI inference cloud, utilizing high-performance Nvidia GPUs. The initiative targets the AI inference market, leveraging existing data center infrastructure. Revenue projections are set at A$307M–A$315M for 2026, with further growth anticipated.
