Apple Watch Gains FDA-Cleared Hypertension Monitoring with watchOS 26

Starting September 15, Apple will launch a new hypertension notification feature on Apple Watch Series 9 and Ultra 2 models with watchOS 26. This innovative feature, cleared by the FDA, analyzes users' blood pressure by monitoring heart vessel responses. It utilizes existing optical heart sensors and alerts users after 30 days of data analysis, rolling out in over 150 countries.
