PhonePe has launched the Indus AppStore Developer Platform, providing Android developers in India with an alternative to Google's Play Store. The platform offers no platform fee or commission on in-app purchases, making it an attractive option for developers. PhonePe has also set up a dedicated India-based support team to assist developers, addressing the frustrations many have had with Google's working hours. The app store, which supports 12 Indian languages, aims to offer better app discovery and consumer engagement, along with additional features like real-time analytics and competitor analysis.
