Former Google Employees Launch AI-Powered Assistant for Email Queries

Shortwave, an email client developed by ex-Google employees, has introduced an AI-powered assistant that allows users to ask questions about their inbox. By granting access to their email history, users can find specific emails based on natural language queries. The assistant also offers features like email summarization, draft composition, writing improvement, and text translation. Shortwave's AI assistant, which combines various models including InstroctorXL and GPT 3.5, is available to all users starting today. The company, with over 20,000 active users, assures that user data is not used for training these models.
