Salesforce to Acquire Airkit.ai, Boosting AI-Powered Customer Service Agents
Salesforce has announced its acquisition of Airkit.ai, a low-code platform that enables ecommerce companies to build AI-driven customer service agents. Airkit, founded in 2017, recently relaunched with its first integrated product, a GPT-4-based platform for creating customer service chatbots. The company has strong connections to Salesforce, with its founders previously selling a startup to the tech giant. Airkit.ai will be integrated into Salesforce's Service Cloud, with the deal set to close in January 2024.
