Meta has already experimented with chatbot personas on Instagram, including a sassy robot and an inquisitive character called "Alvin the Alien." The company plans to develop more chatbots and create a tool for celebrities to craft their own personalized chatbots. Meta envisions chatbots that assist with coding and productivity tasks. However, concerns about data collection and inappropriate responses have also been raised. Despite this, Meta believes that the development of character-based bots will enhance user engagement and provide opportunities for targeted advertisements.
