GPT4All introduces locally-run AI chat application with no external server data transfer!

GPT4All has launched a new AI chat application called GPT4All Chat, which is powered by the GPT4All-J Apache 2 Licensed chatbot. This new model runs on your computer CPU and works without any internet connection. The application enables users to communicate with a large language model (LLM) to get helpful answers, insights, and suggestions. The app is available for Windows, Linux, and macOS, but Windows and Linux require at least an AVX2 chipset. The installation process is easy, and the application can be launched from the 'bin' subdirectory within the installation folder. The GPT4All Chat installer needs to decompress a 3GB LLM model during the installation process, so please be patient. Note that the download contains all human-historical knowledge placed onto the internet, and Paperspace has sponsored the compute for GPT4All-J.
