Google to release new AI search tools next month to counter competition from Bing and ChatGPT

According to The New York Times, Google is set to release AI-powered search tools under the codename "Magi" next month initially only available to a maximum of one million US users. The new features are a response to new systems like Microsoft's Bing chatbot and OpenAI's ChatGPT. Google is also planning a more radical rebuild of its search engine. The new features are available exclusively in the US.
