Carbon Studio, a Polish VR game developer, has launched Auctoria, a platform that utilizes generative AI to automate the process of video game model creation. Co-founder Aleksander Caban developed Auctoria to address the time-consuming and laborious task of manually creating basic elements of video game environments. With Auctoria, users can generate a wide range of 3D video game assets, including whole game levels and converted textures. The platform also allows users to enter text prompts or sketches, which are then converted into digital models. Auctoria is an independent tool, developed and trained in-house. According to industry insights, the market for 3D models is predicted to reach $3.57 billion by 2028.
