Elon Musk founded a new AI company called X.AI, as per a recent Nevada filing. This company has Musk as its director, and Jared Birchall, the director of Musk's family office, as its secretary. Reports suggest the company was incorporated last month, and Musk has been openly opposed to OpenAI, the AI organization that he co-founded in 2015 but walked away from in 2018. Rumors about Musk starting up an AI company have been floating for days, and the company's purported X.AI name matches the branding of the X Corp. name he has since assigned to Twitter.
