Smalo E-Bikes Unveils AI-Powered Urban-Friendly E-Bike Models for the US Market

Taiwanese company Smalo E-Bikes, a subsidiary of BESV, is launching its LX2 and PX2 e-bike models in the US. These urban-friendly e-bikes come equipped with artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance the riding experience. Both models have a 250-watt motor with a torque sensor, providing assistance up to 20 mph. The AI system learns the rider's power output, enabling automatic gear shifting and offering range estimates. The e-bikes feature a dedicated app for system analysis and troubleshooting. Pre-orders start on September 25, with limited sales in California initially.
