Roop: One-Click Deepfake: A New AI Program for Easy Face Swapping!
/Roop is a software that allows users to replace faces in videos with one image of the desired face. There are two types of installations: basic, which is slower but more likely to work, and GPU, which is faster but requires a good GPU and more technical know-how. When the program is run, it will download models of about 300 MB in size. Users can choose a face and target image/video, and the program will swap faces. The output is saved in a directory named after the video title, and users must get consent from concerned parties before using their face. The software is for learning purposes only and users must not engage in malicious behavior.
