Japanese Engineers Unveil Colossal Gundam-Inspired Robot Suit for Space Exploration and Emergencies
Japanese engineers have created a massive 3.5-ton robot suit called Archax that draws inspiration from the beloved animation character Gundam. Developed by Tokyo-based start-up Tsubame Industries, this towering 4.5-meter robot aims to be utilized in space exploration missions and emergency scenarios. The Archax robot comes with a hefty price tag of $3 million and features cockpit monitors, precision joysticks, and two distinct modes - robot mode and vehicle mode. The visionary creator, Ryo Yoshida, envisions using these colossal marvels for humanitarian efforts and to showcase Japan's expertise in animation, robotics, and manufacturing.
