Plantiga Technologies Uses AI-Powered Sensor Pod to Revolutionize Rehabilitation and Injury Prevention

Vancouver-based company, Plantiga Technologies, has developed an artificial intelligence-powered monitoring sensor pod that can be embedded into shoes, orthotics, or insoles to analyze users' movement patterns. The fifth-generation sensor pod, Arc5, can collect movement data for up to 12 hours, providing valuable insights for health experts to predict rehab outcomes, injury risks, disease progression, and optimize performance. With around 90 customers, including professional sports teams and the Canadian Armed Forces, Plantiga plans to expand into the broader consumer market and collaborate with major footwear brands. They are also in the process of raising additional funding and expect to reach profitability within six months.
