Mobility giant Bolt partners with Starship Technologies for self-driving robot food delivery

European ride-hailing company Bolt will collaborate with Starship Technologies, an autonomous delivery firm, to provide self-driving robots for food delivery. Bolt, which is valued at €7.6bn and has over 100 million customers across multiple continents, plans to launch thousands of robots for food delivery across various countries, starting in Tallinn. Starship, headquartered in Silicon Valley, has completed over five million commercial deliveries globally and primarily works with Grubhub and British chains Co-op and Tesco. Starship's robots, which are about the size of a suitcase and emit zero emissions, will be able to deliver meals or groceries directly to Bolt customers in the Bolt app, requiring the energy of a cup of tea for delivery.
