Meta to Introduce AI Agents to Billions of Users, Says Zuckerberg

During the earnings call for the first quarter of this year, CEO Mark Zuckerberg revealed that Meta plans to introduce AI agents to billions of people, though he was vague about how exactly this would be achieved. Zuckerberg stated that the AI tools would be beneficial for everyone from regular users to businesses. Meta has been exploring chat experiences in WhatsApp and Messenger, as well as visual creation tools for posts on Facebook and Instagram. Generative AI products will be released in the coming months, according to Zuckerberg, and AI is expected to touch every single one of Meta's products. While Meta is pivoting to AI, it isn't giving up on the metaverse, with the next Quest VR headset to debut later this year.
