Canadian musician Grimes has offered to split 50% royalties with anyone who uses her voice on a successful AI-generated song, adding that she has no label or legal bindings. She is creating a program that should simulate her voice well and is considering uploading stems and samples for tutorials. Grimes is known for her distinct cyberpunk aesthetic, which features in her music, and she is a strong proponent of emerging technologies such as AI and blockchain.
