Google teams up with Adobe to bring new generative AI capabilities to Bard

Google's AI chatbot, Bard, will now have access to Adobe's recently introduced generative AI capabilities, Firefly. This partnership will allow Bard users to generate images via Firefly, modify them using Adobe Express, and choose from templates, fonts, and stock images. Firefly is designed to generate images free from copyrighted materials and will be trained on hundreds of millions of licensed images from Adobe Stock, along with openly licensed images and public domain content. Adobe is also using technology from the Content Authenticity Initiative (CAI) to tag images created with Firefly via Bard with “content credentials.”
