According to a report from Bloomberg, Google employees have criticized the company's chatbot Bard in internal messages, warning that it provides dangerous advice and is worse than useless. Despite an internal safety team's evaluation that deemed the system not ready for general use, the company launched the "experimental" bot in March. The report highlights how Google's focus on business has apparently led to ethical concerns being sidelined, with the search giant providing low-quality information in a race to keep up with rivals Microsoft and OpenAI.
