GitHub Expands Availability of Copilot Chat to Individual Subscribers

GitHub has announced that its programming-centric chatbot, Copilot Chat, is now available to all individual subscribers of GitHub Copilot in Visual Studio and VS Code. Previously only available to organizations with a Copilot for Business subscription, Copilot Chat allows developers to have multiturn conversations about coding and seek assistance with their current code. With the goal of reducing boilerplate work and promoting natural language as a universal programming language, GitHub believes that the integration of Copilot Chat and Copilot pair programmer will greatly enhance the software development experience. The service offers real-time guidance, code analysis, and security issue fixing, all within the IDE.
