In a move similar to Samsung, Apple has reportedly banned employees from using OpenAI's ChatGPT and other AI tools, citing potential leaks of confidential data. This comes as Apple is developing its own language-generating AI technology. Other institutions, such as JPMorgan and Bank of America, have also banned ChatGPT for the same reason. OpenAI has also struggled with private data breaches, while working on a new subscription tier of ChatGPT for businesses. Interestingly enough for Apple, OpenAI announced the launch of a ChatGPT app for Apple's iOS.
