Amazon Music Podcasts to Receive AI-Generated Episode Highlights and Chapters

Amazon Music Podcasts will soon incorporate AI-generated highlights and chapters, thanks to the company's acquisition of Snackable AI, an audio intelligence startup. The technology will enable the automatic generation of segments, which will allow listeners to locate specific information without having to listen to the entire episode. Amazon's expanding interest in AI is evident with the launch of Amazon Bedrock, a new cloud service, and the availability of CodeWhisperer, an AI-powered coding companion. Additionally, the retail giant has introduced Inspire, a shopping feed similar to TikTok, that allows consumers to browse and make purchases based on content created by influencers, brands, and other users.
