The website is made by Abelardo Riojas, a Data Science grad student whose passion for music led him to develop a website that connects people with new and exciting music seamlessly. Abelardo created the website to fulfill his passion for using language to connect people to new, fantastic music. He believes that music recommendation is something that is "locked behind closed doors," which can be a challenge for music lovers who want to discover new artists from obscure genres, or specific lyrical themes, or just have limited time to search. This website opens the doors wide open, granting direct query access to intelligent music recommendations that broaden musical horizons.

For instance, by adding "lyrics" to a user's query, the algorithm searches and builds playlists that incorporate the theme suggested in the lyrics. Collaborating with Abelardo on this project is Alex Pelta, a full-stack software engineer with experience in different library frameworks, such as React and jQuery.
