Waymo Accelerates Robotaxi Expansion with 2,000 New Vehicles by 2026

Waymo announced plans to enhance its fleet by adding 2,000 robotaxis in 2026, bringing the total to 3,500. Currently, 1,500 Jaguar I-Paces operate in four key markets. The company is also testing new vehicle models, including the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Zeekr RT. Waymo aims to launch in Atlanta, Miami, and Washington, DC, while improving assembly efficiency in Mesa, Arizona.
