Samsung's RB-Y1 Robot Takes Its First Steps in Coupang Trial!

Rainbow Robotics, a Samsung-controlled firm, is testing its mobile dual-arm robot RB-Y1 at a Coupang fulfillment center. This pilot aims to assess the robot’s efficiency in sorting and moving goods while addressing safety in complex workflows. While the RB-Y1’s design enhances mobility, its payload capacity is limited. Success could lead to significant labor cost reductions and lower workplace injuries.
