OpenAI Launches Text Watermarking in the EU!

OpenAI has debuted its textGrain watermarking for ChatGPT and Codex users in the European Union. While it claims to surpass previous methods, this feature won’t be a global default at launch. The opt-in watermarking for API customers is now available. Researchers can also apply for access to detection tools. OpenAI aims for feedback-driven enhancements.
