Microsoft is merging its Copilot and Microsoft 365 Copilot apps into a single super app, eliminating annoying double icons in the taskbar. The unified app, featuring a fresh look, will combine Copilot chat and image creation. A global rollout begins in mid-August for mobile and web, with Windows and Mac updates in mid-September. Existing user content will transition smoothly, but some services will be retired.
