ITC Investigates Micron's DDR5 Memory Amid Patent Dispute

The U.S. International Trade Commission has launched an investigation into Micron Technology for potential patent infringements related to its DDR5 server memory. This follows a significant settlement between Netlist and Samsung over similar issues. If the ITC rules against Micron, it could severely impact the AI infrastructure market by eliminating the only major U.S. DRAM supplier.
