Google Fuels Renewable Energy Revolution with Taiwan Geothermal Deal

Google has signed its first geothermal energy purchase agreement in Taiwan, marking a significant step in its climate strategy. The deal with Baseload Capital aims to add 10 megawatts of carbon-free energy by 2029. This initiative will double Taiwan's commercial geothermal capacity, powering Google's facilities. The tech giant is also exploring similar ventures in Japan and Indonesia, alongside ongoing efforts in the US and Australia.
