FibreCoat Secures €20 Million for Space-Ready Materials

German startup FibreCoat has raised €20 million in Series B funding to expand its patented fibre coating technology for the space industry. Spun out from RWTH Aachen University, the company focuses on creating lightweight, conductive, and durable materials. With its sights set on the growing space sector, FibreCoat aims to enhance spacecraft resilience against harsh conditions. The funding round was co-led by NewSpace Capital.
