Equal1 Launches World’s First Hybrid Quantum Computer, Bell-1!

Irish startup Equal1 has introduced Bell-1, the first quantum computer powered by a hybrid quantum-classical silicon chip. Weighing around 200kg, this machine fits effortlessly into data centers. Bell-1 utilizes silicon-spin qubits, offering groundbreaking potential for drug discovery and cryptography. Currently, it operates with 6 qubits but aims to advance quantum processing capabilities. Equal1's innovative approach leverages existing semiconductor tech, helping to bring quantum computing into the real world faster than competitors.
