Argentine Startup Satellites on Fire Secures $2.7M for AI-Powered Wildfire Detection

Founded in 2020 by three teenagers, Satellites on Fire has raised $2.7 million led by Dalus Capital. Their AI-based platform detects wildfires 35 minutes faster than NASA's FIRMS, utilizing data from over eight satellites. With over 55,000 users across 21 countries, the funds will aid U.S. expansion and enhance its technology. The company aims to eventually incorporate drone technology.
