Apple Wallet Welcomes Japan's My Number Card: A Digital Revolution!

Apple has integrated Japan's My Number Card into its Wallet app for iPhones with iOS 18.5 or later. Available on iPhone XS and newer, users can now add their government-issued ID for easier access. The feature allows digital ID presentation, government document printing, and secure online services. Future healthcare integration is also planned. Japan leads the world in adopting Apple Wallet's ID function.
