Anthropic is gearing up to launch a voice feature for its Claude AI chatbot. The new update will include three distinct voice options: Mellow, Airy, and Buttery. This feature could compete directly with OpenAI's voice capabilities in ChatGPT. Expected to roll out this month, it signifies Anthropic's growth in the AI sector. The technology was hinted at by their chief product officer last month. Initial references were discovered in their iOS app.
