Amazon Announces New Tools for Building with Generative AI on AWS

Amazon has announced the launch of a new service, Amazon Bedrock, which democratizes access to foundation models (FMs) for generative AI applications. Bedrock enables customers to access powerful FMs, fine-tune them for specific tasks, and integrate them into their applications using AWS tools, all without requiring the management of infrastructure. Amazon has also launched two new language models, Titan-1 and Titan-2, which feature more than 500 billion parameters and deliver higher accuracy for a range of applications, from text generation to summarization. Additionally, Amazon has introduced new-generation Trn1n and Inf2n instances, powered by AWS Trainium and AWS Inferentia2 chips, respectively, for more cost-effective and performant cloud infrastructure for building, training, and deploying generative AI applications.
