Alibaba's Autonomous Driving Lab Merges into Cainiao for Monetization

Alibaba's Damo Academy's autonomous vehicle lab, focused on research on autonomous driving, is now merging into Cainiao, Alibaba’s global logistics network, with the goal of monetizing autonomous driving. This change comes in response to the capital-intensive nature of autonomous driving and the need for a more urgent monetization plan. The well-known robovan, Little Donkey, led by Damo, will play a significant role in the logistics giant's plan.
