Alibaba enters the AI race with new model for smart speakers & chat software

Alibaba's new AI model, Tongyi Qianwen, will compete with ChatGPT for the Chinese market, will be integrated into all Alibaba's products and services, and was unveiled by CEO Daniel Zhang on Tuesday in Beijing. The model will be added to Alibaba's DingTalk app and smart home appliance provider Tmall Genie, and is the company's bid to offer the next generation AI platform with generative AI trends, including involving original content creation from poetry to art with simple user prompts.
