Instagram Testing AI Chatbot with 30 Personalities for Social Engagement

Instagram is following Snap's footsteps to launch an AI chatbot that can answer questions, offer advice, and help users write messages. Users can choose from 30 AI personalities to find the one they like the most. CEO Mark Zuckerberg has stated in February that the company is developing AI personas to make chatbots accessible through text conversations. Other companies such as Snapchat and Character.ai have also seen the potential of chatbots as an engaging social feature. However, companies need to make sure that creating a bot is engaging and entertaining, yet safe. The launch date for the said feature is not announced yet
