Apple Co-Founder Steve Wozniak Warns Against Unregulated AI Scams

Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak has expressed concern over the dangers of unregulated artificial intelligence (AI) created by "bad actors" as they could make it harder to detect scams and misinformation. Wozniak emphasized the need for AI content to be labeled and called for sector regulation. Wozniak also addressed the benefits of AI while expressing wariness about how bad actors could exploit AI’s abilities to create convincing content. He pointed out that responsibility for AI-generated content lies with those publishing it, and urged regulators to hold big tech firms accountable, although he remained skeptical about their willingness to get it right.
