AI-powered startup Alison raises $5.1M to analyze creative advertising

An Israeli startup, Alison, has raised pre-seed funding of $5.1 million to develop an AI platform that analyses creative work, such as typeface characters, colors, sounds, and text to help creative teams with A/B testing. The investors include a16z, Crescendo Venture Partners, and yellowHEAD. The platform uses 10+ AI models including text recognition, sound recognition, visual recognition, and sentiment recognition, to identify elements of the creative. AlisonAI currently analyzes 1 billion creative elements across all social platforms, and supports YouTube, AdWords, AdMob, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and TikTok.
